No. No. No.

BEFORE YOU RENT HERE:

I wouldn't recommend it. It was a mistake to move here and I'm glad I'm leaving. Did you know that there's a gun club right down the driveway on the property? This entire month you can hear gunshots going off non stop. Did you also know that they never tell you that this gun club exists? Nothing wrong with being a part of a gun club, but I don't want to hear that nonsense every single day. It's very dishonest of The Springs to not say anything about this. They didn't...
telling potential tenants about the other businesses on the property, but they draw the line on talking about a gun club that makes the most noise with constant shooting.

The apartments are really a lot of money and not worth what you pay. There are no amenities- the gym is a joke. The people in the office? Also a joke. Not sure what Burns Management was thinking hiring some of them. They seem more interested in speaking about their personal lives than doing their jobs.

If you want to live in a mediocre apartment that costs so much and will go up $300 from what you pay your first year, no amenities, gun shots ringing out loudly, and mean office staff- then The Springs is the place for you!

Great townhouse in Saratoga area

I have been in a town house for 6 months and have found it to be exactly what I was looking for in a rental in Saratoga. After becoming an empty-nester I wanted to be in the Saratoga area to enjoy the track, SPAC and have easy access to the Northway. After many tours of other options in the area, I found the Springs to be the best option for maintenance free living. The office staff is very friendly and responsive to any question or concern. The noise level from the neighbors is less than when... I owned a home in a residential area. If you are looking to rent in the Saratoga area , call the office and ask for Christan, she is very accommodating, honest and a pleasure to work with.

Don’t do it!!

I lived at The Springs just under a year while I waited for a house I purchased in town to be renovated. The place is built super cheap with fake hardwood floors and thin walls. Thankfully I had a corner unit and my living room didn’t touch another unit, but in my bedroom where it did I would hear my neighbor on a daily basis (alarm clock going off, using the bathroom, talking, having sex). The kitchen is a joke and has barely any cabinet/drawer space. I couldn’t fit half of my kitchen items... and kept them in storage while living here. They clearly don’t put new carpet down between tenants as I moved in to a large stain on my master bedroom carpet. During my stay here I dealt with an obnoxious tenant below me who would use their tv so loud my floor would shake and it would sound like a thunderstorm. It was unbearable and I could barely stand to be in my apartment. This nightmare went on for months and I would constantly tell the office and they did little to try to make it stop and kept telling me it wasn’t those people even though it was clear where it was coming from. At one point one of the office staff members told me to just call the cops because they really couldn’t enforce anything or make them stop. It took a confrontation with the tenant below me which almost resulted in the tenant physically assaulting my friend for it to stop (conveniently only a few weeks before I moved out). The grounds are also disgusting as people don’t pick up their dogs’ poop. The free internet is a joke (webpages wouldn’t even load) and I had to purchase my own. Forget about trying to break your lease, they’ll charge you two months rent even if they end up renting it right after you move out. I was fortunate to find a subletter and moved out over a month ago, but I’ve yet to receive my security deposit back despite being told in an email that it would be given to me in 2 to 3 weeks. Super overpriced for what you get. Look elsewhere!

Overall very good experience

I lived in The Springs for two years. Most of my stay here was very positive with a few exceptions.

Pros:
- Very responsive, friendly, polite management - Any time I had a problem, it was taken care of. I had an issue with some noisy neighbors, complained to the management, and they were dealt with immediately. The few maintenance issues I ran into were generally completed within 24 hours.

- Amenities - There are many businesses in the area. It's across the street from a grocery store, and...
under five minutes from another. Target, Home Depot, Staples, Walmart and Lowes are all within a five minute drive. There are some restaurants nearby, but they're mostly chains. Additionally, there are lots of businesses in the complex itself including BWP, a decent bar/grill, and Uptown Cafe, a very good breakfast/lunch spot. There's also a dry cleaners, a dog grooming business, a barber shop, a nail salon, and a daycare all inside the complex.

-Easy access to I-87 Northway - I use the Northway to get to work every day. The complex is right by the highway, but it can take about five minutes to get on just because of the lights. Still, this is very convenient.

-Well maintained grounds - The buildings and property are beautiful. Both main areas of the complex have extensive walking paths, sidewalks, and wide open spaces.

-Parking - Surface parking is plentiful, although Friday and Saturday nights do get crowded because of the bar. Garages are really nice. You don't have to go outside to get from your garage space to your apartment. Worth every penny in the winter months when it's snowing or 10 below.

-Internet - The complex offers free basic cable (in standard def) and wireless internet. I don't watch much TV, but I found the wi-fi to be fast and reliable.

Cons:

-Noise - The complex is in a very quiet area, but the units aren't soundproofed very well. You can hear conversations, laughing, dogs, music, snoring and sex from adjoining units. This gets really irritating sometimes.

-Gyms - The gyms are really poorly outfitted. Just a couple of machines and not a very good selection of weights. These could be really improved.

Overall: My stay here was largely fantastic aside from the issues I mentioned. Initially this was more than I wanted to spend on an apartment, but I don't regret it at all. You pay for quality and this place delivers. If you have the misfortune of having to live in upstate New York, I highly recommend The Springs.
