Rent Always Gets Lost

Pros: cute townhouses with stackable washer/dryer in them. I was lucky enough to get one of the apartments that had the cabinets redone. The only carpet is in the living room.

Cons: You cannot pay the rent at the rental office. You have to mail it to a PO Box in Powell. We got several notices that we were late paying our rent, even though it was mailed to them on time. So I started sending it certified with return receipt/signature required so that I'd have proof. I still got notices that...
it was not paid on numerous occasions. Each time, I had to photocopy the money order, Post Office receipt, and the card returned with the signature on it and turn that all in to prove that I paid it. The last straw was when I got a call from the rental office asking me not to send it with signature required. The owner works full time and typically checks the mail after the post office is closed (so she can't sign for the mail when it's closed). I explained to the rental manager that even with the signature card showing proof of delivery, I've gotten late notices and have had to show proof that I paid the rent on time. Apparently, the owner requested that I not send the mail with a signature required because it was inconvenient for her. They need to allow their tenants to pay at the rental office like at most other apartment complexes.

A rain gutter fell down from one of my neighbor's apartments and it lay on the ground for 4 months before it was picked up off the ground.

I had the world's noisiest neighbor. It sounded like someone a pounding noise at all hours of the day and night. I left a voicemail message at the rental office asking them to address it, but the noise never stopped the entire time those neighbors lived next to me.
