Sherwood Forest Apartments

This was my first apartment. I moved here in 2021 and am only looking to move out just to get a bigger space. The studios are so cute and EXTREMELY affordable. Maintenance is also super speedy with repairs and are very respectful and friendly. The landlords are extremely communicative and make it very easy to live here. The only downsides I've had living here were the laundry units always having issues and some noisy neighbors, but even then I could still manage. Even when rent was raised, they... always raised it by a reasonable margin (I think around $20 each renewal? Not too bad in comparison to my other friends...). It's also great that you're approximately a 5-10 minute drive away from any major grocery chain (Giant Eagle, 2 Drug Marts, Target, Walmart, etc.). These even cheap apt. are like a time Capsule from the 50’s and 60’s unless you love green toilet's, white walls, and any other place your grandparents had. 0 amenities. I’ve seen subsidized housing and projects that are nicer than these apartments!! Seriously….

It's a quiet, decent neighborhood. There's plenty of parking available. It's very affordable. No problems with the washing machines and dryers on site. I've recommended this place to anyone looking for an affordable place. There's just about everything you need in walking distance and a close bus stop. Local community college is great.

Impossible to move here if you don't already live in the area. If you want to move here from out of state good luck. You need 6 months of pay stubs at a current job. So if your moving here for work there is no compromise with this place. They expect you to live in a hotel or the streets for 6 months, then you can apply. Atrocious management.

If you like peace and quiet, this is where you want to be. On the North side of Elyria close to Lorain County Community College. Surrounded with trees and residential areas, but still close to highway. Rent is super reasonable also. Only downside is that pets are not allowed.
