Don't recommend.
I was so excited for my first apartment but since the first week I moved in it's been issue after issue. Monthly I had to constantly send emails. I stayed on the first floor. The building is poorly built. You can hear conversations and walking. It's like the ceiling is cracking under each person's footsteps. It's the most tortuous sound for a freelance writer like myself. Loud neighbors, weed smoking filling the hallways, fire alarms going off at all hours because of weed smoke. Irresponsible... neighbors who are too high to not let their food burn on the stove which caused firefighters to come constantly banging on the door (15-20 minutes at a time) to make sure that neighbor didn't die! I asked the firefighters if they could do something because this tenant constantly had emergency services coming out and apparently nothing can be done by firefighters only the landlord. Electrical issues where my refrigerator kept going out, my Amazon package was opened within the first week of being there. When I complained about the noise of the neighbor above me I was at first met with "well that neighbor doesn't feel they're being loud", which is crap. But after complaining for 6 months they finally gave her the boot. During a renovation of her apartment above me a valve broke and flooded my ceiling, leaking into my place. They offered to paint mold killer over the water spots but at this point I was done with all the constant issues. I even asked to change units which they kept ignoring that request. I didn't have peace and I was promised peace in my lease. Each time I needed something repaired, repairmen did come out, so I'll give them that. My emails were apparently going to junk mail or something so the email responses weren't timely. They would eventually respond so I'll give them that too. Nobody was ever rude to me either. I'm just being honest about how horrible of an experience this has been. I was thankfully let out of my least 4 months early and told I'd receive my deposit back so we'll see. I think they're in the process of renovating some other units so I guess this place has potential but I wouldn't risk it.
