Horrible judgemental dishonest management.
So I found this apartment complex online. Based on the information on the website, I thought it would be a great fit for me. I am disabled with Parkinson's, and I am on a very tight budget. When I filled out the information required, I also made aure to include my specific sutuational details. I then recieved an application via email the next day. I was overjoyed, until it expected me to verify income that I did not have. These apartments are supposed to be income restricted, listing the maximum... amount you can make per year as an individual is $2900/year. When I called, I was informed that my application would be denied, and unit availability notifications were at that point removed for me because of not having consistent income. I was also informed that a 1 bedroom would be $750 per month, and utilities are a flat $150 extra per month. The $70application fee was being waived even though the online application process forces you to pay it in order to complete the application process. I checked the website information again, and found it still remained as income restricted showing the information was verified by the website a week ago. The woman I spoke to said it was incorrect. I felt like I was being inappropriately profiled, and rejected because of my disability, and inability to pay what she was asking for prior to my ss disability approval. Just like previous possible employers, I am now being rejected by places I consider for housing because of this stupid disability! People like this make me hate being born with Parkinson's! If you aren't even willing to consider someone for their abilities, morals, standards, values, and integrity what are you considering?
