The unit was a safety hazard.
I wasn't allowed to see the unit until I signed the lease. When I saw the unit, it hadn't been cleaned at all. The dishwasher had standing water, the bedroom walls were soft to the touch. The floors still has stains and dirt on them. The patio door didn't even lock. When I brought my concerns to property manager, she said they'll clean it. When asked if there was another unit available for me to stay in until my unit was cleaned and repaired, I was told the water damage repair and cleaning will... be done within 3days. Shockingly it wasn't. Each time I went to the office or the unit, maintenance was always outside laughing and chilling or just walking around talking and laughing.
