When Staff Fail to Communicate, Commitments Remain Unfulfilled!
I had arranged to rent a specific apartment, namely a first-floor residence with two bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and no carpet. After paying a deposit a month in advance to secure the unit, we were disappointingly informed just prior to move-in that it was no longer available. While renters understandably pay for preferred amenities, initial transparency would have allowed us to explore alternative options. Management assured us of a refund within two weeks, but it has now been two months without... any communication or reimbursement. Our visits to the office have yielded only unfulfilled promises of callbacks, highlighting a frustrating lack of accountability and communication among staff members.
In conjunction with this, I strongly support the tenant's review of the model unit description. While the model unit presents exceptionally well, being clean and newly renovated, there is a risk that the assigned unit may not meet the same standards.
