This is a horrible place to live I've had mice infestation bed bug infestation and roaches. They don't correct the problem they have masked it to the point if my apartment deemed uninhabitable don't rent here

Great place to start... Many reasons to Stay.

I have very different circumstances than most. A few years ago, I was diagnosised with an illness that made it very clear that I wasn't going to be able to live so far from family anymore. The bad part, my most supportive family members are in Oklahoma. Therefore it is a must that I pack up my whole life of just 30years, and make the journey from Michigan to Tulsa with my service dog.

Knowing my time is limited, I desperately wanted to find a place that was bright, beautiful, clean, where I...
wouldn't have to worry about safety, that had a positive vibe and maybe little patio for my dog, and that j But between medical bills and medications I quickly realized in O.K., i, cannot afford much.

I went to London square and immediately was scared. The apartment complex is very deep and my particular apartment was going to be very far back and tucked in a corner. When I brought my mom she cried on the way home because she knew I wouldn't get my wish apartment and I was going to have to take it since they also pay all utilities.

Then I talked to the leasing agent and manager and understood how hard they were working to upgrade everything starting from the front to the back. The apartments are clean, old but usable and like I said, their continuing to upgrade/update them as time goes. I may never see it but knowing they are working so hard makes me feel like they truly care.

They explained they had just taken over the complex and was working everyday to make changes to make the community better.
After speaking with them for about 30mins I learned how dedicated they are to making this community not only safe but happy. They have birthday month party for everyone with cake. They have a huge block party where externals resources come in for the adults with programs to get on ur feet while the kids play in bouncy houses.

But the thing that drew me the most was the plan to start a youth program to help teens who need mentoring to get in the right track in life. At only 30, I've spend the last 13 years doing youth work. I thought I was done with my dream to help teens but now I get to continue it.

I really thought I was going to move to Oklahoma to get much needed support while I go through treatments, surgeries, etc. But it looks like I will be continuing my favorite thing of being a mentor.

Everything happens for a reason. I think this is where I'm supposed to be until I either get better to get a job or... Who knows.

This is a great place to start!
