Unsafe and Terrible Living Conditions

Within the last year they have had 3 different apartment managers. They don't fix anything. This apartment has had a HVAC water leak since April of this year and they have still not repaired it. They sent maintenance workers over to look at it in July and he put tape over the pipes, but it is still leaking because he didn't repair the problem. There have been work orders put in for several appliances that I was told that they would be replacing, but they still have not been replaced them and... they have either quit working or have not been working (hence the reason for the work orders). I am unable to communicate with the maintenance workers because they don't speak English and then when I discussed this with the manager she stated that "there was no need for someone to be speaking to them". I was surprised by this response. I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST FOR ANYONE TO LIVE HERE! Why:
A. They don't fix the reported problems
B. I had a refrigerator that the freezer didn't work for 6 months and they replaced it with an old refrigerator that didn't work right either
C. They don't replace appliances that are no longer working and/or are working periodically
D. They don't fix toilets that are working properly
E. They don't fix leaks either from the HVAC units or it takes months to get leaks fixed that are coming from upstairs units to downstairs units.
F. They never have enough maintenance workers on staff
G. They have a terrible management with a high turnover rate (3 in the last year).

Worst of the worst

Shower broke on the same week I moved in, maintenance finally showed up to fix it on the same week I am moving out, A WHOLE YEAR LATER. We went without a working shower for 12 MONTHS, but the moment we put in notice to move they show up to fix the issue. The whole complex is also infested with roaches. During the summer at night times you can see them swarming around under the grass. Hundreds and hundreds of them would just skitter away in front of me anytime I would walk my dog. Trying to keep... them out of the apartments is just futile, and all the worse when the management doesn't care one bit.

Roach INFESTED and understaffed

I never even spent a night in our apartment. Our unit wasn’t ready on the day we agreed on so they offered us a different unit. After the lease was signed and we went to move our stuff in, we discovered roaches. and i mean a TON of roaches. I was in there 10 minutes then went to my car and there was already a roach in my car. We immediately called and tried to get out of the lease with no luck. They kept our initial deposits and fees as well as charging us thousands to break the lease.... Absolutely screwed us over for an apartment we didn’t even spend a night in.

Definitely worth living here

3 years here and we have never had a manager like we have now. Any time I need anything done in my apartment they get on it and get it done quickly. Melissa is the best. I have never seen a manager get out and walk the property and interact with the kids. That to shows how much they care about their residents. This management team we have now is definitely what village creek residents needed.

Beware! Horrible Business Practices

Do not move to Village Creek at 67th. They do not fix anything in a timely manner yet want their rent on time every month. I have had mold growing in my walls have told management numerous times then when the ceiling fell in my second bathroom it took them months to fix it and it's still not done right or completed. They whole complex is raggedy and falling apart. Everyone has leaks and almost no one has air-conditioning. When you talk to management they either have an attitude or don't care and... do nothing. If you value your time and hard earned money find another place. All this place will do is cause you stress and health issues.
