Kennedy Park Apartments - Getting better over time...
We have lived here since 2007. These apartments are in a great location, close to the 26 and 217 freeways, between Canyon Road and Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway in Beaverton (close to Portland, OR.) However, the buildings are old (built in 1970's), and need more attention and maintenance than they have received in the past. Thankfully, there are current projects underway to rectify sagging porches, uneven decks, and weathered staircases. New windows and some upgrades are going in to apartments... when they become available for the next renter. Sadly, there is little done in the way of landscaping and the trash/dumpster area ranges from unsightly and smelly to dangerous (broken glass on ground - not attended to.) The Fire Marshall's visit(s) have prompted the owner to have trees trimmed and shrubs cut back, so apartment numbers can be seen in case of an emergency. Public transportation is available close-by and is mostly reliable (Trimet buses, Max light rail, and Beaverton Transit Center) Although improvements to these apartments are being made, I would encourage renters to look elsewhere for now.
