This place is a nightmare. My apartment had a major water leak with water pouring in from the ceiling that went unaddressed by management for over a month. They deemed the apartment uninhabitable and said I would be forced to move to a new unit however they never did move me into a unit that wasn’t leaking and instead just blew me off. Management is nearly impossible to contact for any issue small or large like a major water leak. There is no contact for emergency maintenance and no way to leave... a message. Emergency maintenance request through the resident portal go unaddressed for days or weeks. They charged me a lease termination fee of $2460 for terminating my lease even though the cause was that my apartment was filling up with water for over a month and they weren’t fixing the issue or relocating me extremely unethical and unprofessional business practices from the property management company Cloud Ten Residential. Manager is never in and they don’t respond to calls or emails. Building is literally falling apart elevators always broken garage doors have not operated in months leaving parking structure unsecured. Dirty overflowing trash rooms and common areas that are rarely cleaned if ever. Paper thin walls and failing plumbing in a building that is less than 5 years old avoid The Hixon at all costs.

Upon being notified of the leak, our team promptly took action by arranging for a restoration company to assess and assist with the... repairs. We offered a temporary move to a new apartment at no additional cost, which you accepted, along with a rent-free month as compensation for the inconvenience. We aimed to complete these arrangements as quickly as possible and were in constant communication with you throughout the process.
While we understand your frustration, our team worked diligently to resolve your issue and made every effort to accommodate your needs. While we recognize that breaking a lease early adds extra stress, the lease termination fee is in accordance with the terms outlined in your lease agreement.
