Well managed, quiet, reasonably priced apartments

We lived here for 18 months after selling our home near by and absolutely loved it. Donna, the long time property manager is professional and ensures the common areas and units are well maintained. The couple of times we had maintenance requests, they were handled promptly. We had no problems with noise or other common apartment issues. Two thumbs up for Town Center Heights

amenities??

We’ve been here over 10 years and have seen lots of change, but some things haven’t. Like the willingness to go the distance for those paying rent for the salary or the manager and staff. Ants are a MAJOR problem and can not seem to get under control??? If your upstairs neighbors have composite flooring (ask that question), you will hear everything, I mean EVERYTHING... No pool, no spa were hearing, again... our rent didn’t decrease during the Covid restrictions, but boy did the inability to use... the services (including club house) increase! Shots are available to everyone 16 and up. Now what the excuse? I’ve got mine already!!!

There are quite a few plumbing issues and many units have been flooded and ground water continues to seep out on the back side of the property. The manager is an unpredictable emotional woman who you want to be on the good side of, trust me, lest you get under her skin and she make your life not happy here. And you will see preferential treatment, the manager always gets the biggest apartments here, she’s single, but she needs the biggest place the complex has to offer, why give it to a growing families in need of more space when you’ve got the keys to the kingdom here. She get an amazing vacation like clockwork paid in part by the occupancies I’d wager, otherwise how can a lowly apartment manager go on such extravagant vacations one might ask? I digress...

Moving back to the mid-west

Well, after living here for 6 years, I'm moving across country to be close to old friends and family. I did look at reviews before I made the decision to move into Town Center Heights. I rented a 2 bed 2 bath apt with 968 sq feet. I'm on the top floor, which is 1 flight up from the parking area. I really liked the layout because the apt has angled walls in the dining area with a cathedral ceiling in the living room and dining room. It has always felt like home to me. It's quiet, private and a... comfortable place to live. I only had a couple repairs that needed to be done, one was the built in microwave. I called the manager Donna, and it was replaced with a new unit the next day. There was never a problem getting repairs done in a timely manner, and done properly. Having worked in customer care areas and sales most of my life, I must say that the manager, Donna does a fantastic job with an equally talented staff to keep the complex running smoothly and looking great! If you are looking for a place to call home, you might want to check this place out. Plus you are only a 1/2 mile from Clackamas Town Center and the transit center

Overall ok place great place to live

We have lived in the Town Center Heights for almost 3 years now. In this time we have lived in two of their apartments. We started out closer to the top of the complex, closer to the managers office in the newer constructed apartments. We lived on the bottom floor which when you walk into the stairwell, you actually go down the stairs to get too, so it's almost like being underground. We had a two bed two bath apartment and we had a very nice view for being "underground" per say. The dining area... and the patio were very roomy. The kitchen, bedrooms, and living room were fairly small along with the bathrooms but they suited our needs. We were having some mold issues being underground hence the move to another apartment. This apartment stayed VERY COOL during the summer and we barely if at all used an AC which was great! The next apartment was in a sorts a down grade as we lost a bathroom, but the square footage stayed the same, there for the space through out the house seemed to increase. We are in the older side of the complex and the place had not been upgraded and feels as such. We are much closer to the pool now though which is great for the kiddos during the summer. Another wonderful thing is how close we are to EVERYTHING! For young kids the elementary school is two blocks away, the mall, Walmart and many more shopping areas, are a back road away! Along with busses and the max. We are very disappointed in how much rent increases every year, but we keep staying and it feels as though that's pretty common around all of Portland. Maintenance is handled fairly quickly, we miss our last maintenance people they were pretty awesome. It's a very quiet community there is no real trouble around here we feel pretty safe and feel it's worthwhile to pay a bit more for ours and our children's peace of mind and safety. If I had to choose to live here again I would! I wish I could live in a house but that's just not in our deck of cards, so here well stay till we can some day! Ow the decks on the bottom floor of the apartments closer to the pool are awesome! We can fit a table out there, and I believe the top floors have vaulted ceilings, and fireplaces all around! Our first one had a gas fireplace and this one has a wood fireplace. Animals are allowed with deposits, they have a dog park area. And they offer garages for an extra fee but you have to give up one of your two parking spaces if you decide to pay for one.
