First red flag, no in person tour. Second red flag, management NEVER gets back to you or picks up the phone. Don’t waste your time applying, you’ll never get a definitive response and waste your money…

Woodstock is a great neighborhood with everything you need.
This apartment complex does not meet standards and is not as advertised.
Maintenance is a joke. If you have a broken appliance, good luck. 3-5 month wait time.
Cleanliness in and around building is not maintained properly.
Walls are thin, you will hear your neighbors and your neighbors will hear you.
Property management. Meritus. If you are having any sort of issues, expect to NEVER hear back from them. But of course you are... always expected to pay rent on time.
When they took over this building they switched our online payment site, took out the drop box for checks, and have been out of contact. DOA. There is no on-site property manager. No reaching the manager by phone or by email.
It would be best to avoid this place, best of luck.

It is loud, the church across the street has installed lights to "keep homeless people away" and the crime in the area has only gotten worse. There was literally blood on the sidewalk in front of the building last week. The utilities for the apartments are astronomical (these are not energy efficient in structure and they use hotel style heaters that blow air constantly and have no automatic turn off). The fans are switched to on in the bathrooms at all times and you can never turn them off. The... washer and dryers take an hour and a half to dry your clothes. The floors are cheap and the walls are extremely thin. Housing is rough in Portland right now and these people take advantage of desperation and act like you are doing them a favor. They are monsters. Do not live here, live anywhere else.

Management is amazing, Jessica is so great and consistent with communication. It's a wonderful and convenient location for all types of renters. Lots of storage, great appliances, affordable rent for the space and quality. This was a really great renting experience.
