This place was okay to live before all of the 'updates' we received. Now it's like a living nightmare.
Now the water pressure is gone in the shower (doesn't even hit the back wall) So is you garbage disposal (so be ready to get medieval with a knife to your drain if food gets stuck down bottom) The roof is now off limits (if you don't have a view you don't get a view ever) The staff doesn't start until 9am if you need help. But the garbage will be loudly changed prior to 7am if they choose. The... construction staff starts at 8am if you're unlucky enough to be a part of that. The building also tends to have a loud whirring sound, I'm guessing when some machine flips on and off. You can almost feel it in the walls, so if you like silence look elsewhere.
However, if you like fighting with your sink and shower while living in underbelly of an airplane you may have just found your dream home!!

Horrible. Avoid.
Notice how many vacant units. There's a reason.
Ongoing roof-top construction and building re-piping since April 2019, which might be done by May 2020, maybe.
After that, give them a look. Before then, if you value your peace, quiet, and privacy, AVOID.

Terrible management and living conditions
I have been a resident of Celio for over 2 years, roped in by the lovely leasing staff, cheap rent, location, and rooftop. In the past year, residents have been screwed over, lied to, and manipulated. The manager of this building lacks basic people skills and empathy. They blindsided residents with a massive repipe, and did not plan to compensate us in any way. For the past week, myself and my service dog have been shuffled between 3 apartments since there is zero communication between... management and even they don’t know when the construction is going on. Management does not tell us any of the safety issues going on in the building, we have to find everything out by word of mouth. There have been multiple apartments popping up with bed bugs over the past few months, issues with break ins (a whole tent was set up on the 11th floor!), and general safety. I am trying to move out but construction has made that almost impossible.

Management is lacking...
I’ve been a resident at Celio for almost two years. The pros, location is excellent if you like to be close to downtown and in an area with a lot to do. The building is older but the public areas are kept nice. Most of the residents are nice and respectful. The cons, lately there have been numerous breakins in the building. The mail room, storage rooms and vehicles have been broken into lately. The amount of breakins in the last couple months is very high and can make some people nervous about... living here. Management gives out information on how to contact their security company which will do nothing but call the police. I rarely see the security company, twice since I’ve lived here. Weather, this is actually my favorite con. The management here will not do ANYTHING when it snows. The sidewalks and driveways are left snowy and icy. The management team places a sign up and says no one from the management team can make it in due to hazardous driving conditions. So we are left alone to try to get our vehicles out of the parking garage and down a steep snowy and icy hill. The management team believes this is a normal way to handle things when it snows. They fail to manage. Residents who are parking in the garage are paying over $100 a month, $1200 a year to park in a cold, lack luster garage, with that amount of money spent we should be able to get in and out of the garage when it snows. If the management team is unable to make it in they should contract out to a grounds service that will clear the sidewalks and driveways. They have had numerous complaints but still fail to do anything, again failing to manage. Finally, for all this they will raise your rent when your lease is up just over 9% and just below the 10% that would require them to pay for you to move due to city law. Overall location is great. Management is a failure.

Wondeful location
Overall, my time so far in Celio has been great. I LOVE the neighborhood and that it is so easy to get around. The staff has been friendly and very helpful. The only downfall for me is that the apartments have mostly carpet and is a little older however other than these things I am very pleased with my time as a Celio resident.
