Stay away!

Due to being on fixed income, I've lived in these apartments for 7 years. Only because I'm desperate for a place to live and can't afford anywhere else. Management is so rude, inconsiderate and extremely condescending. There has been fires and lock-downs in the unit where the entire swat team showed up because there was a hostage situation.

They never clean up the stairs, and side walks when it snows the and the ice sticks. This snow season was the worst. I live with my elderly mother who was...
stuck in the house because she couldn't even manage to walk down the slippery stairs. If you need maintenance just forget about it. It's not happening. Our toilet was clogged for days and they deemed it wasn't an emergency because we had another bathroom that we could use. They are extremely rude and treat their tenants like peasants.

Solid Place

I've also lived at The Terrace at Columbia Knoll for a long time and have enjoyed it. The premises are kept up pretty well and there are a lot of amenities the apartment provides, such as exercise room, parking spot and washer and dryer in the units. It's a huge luxury to be able to have your own washer and dryer in the unit; I love it! Also, the apartments are kept up to code and are continually checked to make sure everything looks good. Lastly, I think it's great they try to bring the... community together by throwing little holiday parties for the kids and anyone in the apartment that would like to join. Overall, I think it's a great place to live.

Great Place

I've lived at The Terrace at Columbia Knoll for quite a while and have had nothing but positive experiences. The staff seems to genuinely care about the people that live here but are pretty strict about the rules with little exceptions. If you follow the rules, you won't have any problems. The place is kept pretty clean and maintenance issues tend to be dealt with in a timely manner. I do wish there was more parking, but we do share the parking lot with a Senior Facility. As to the previous... review, I myself have experienced smoke in my apartment due to cooking and the sprinklers have never gone off. It set off my smoke alarms but that was it, no sprinklers flooding my apartment.

Worst management ever

This apartment hires very cruel managements. I have two children. One five year old and the other one year old. I have been asking for months to fix the heater, they're convincing me that it is normal even tho it produces no heat. There's been three fires within this year in this apartments. When a little smoke goes off in one unit. The fire sprinkler goes off in every apartment connected within that building. I was a victim in one of those apartments that had the fire sprinkler go off about six... months ago. Even tho I had nothing to do with the cause, I was left homeless for two months until they fixed the apartments. The manage my refused to put us in different apartment while they fixed mine. They also threatened to evict me if I didn't pay the full two months rent even tho I couldn't stay because of the construction that was going. I can go on forever on how bad this place. I am highly confused on why I am the only with bad review here. Managers and apartment staff are paid to meet our needs and accommodate us to the best of their ability when we need them. Worst place ever, can't wait for me lease to be up so I can move from here.
