If you enjoy living with rats, never getting maintenance done, and the smell of pot this is the place for you.
The previous reviews were right about the application process, which takes over a month and is ridiculous. From someone who was accepted and lived in the apartments, if you've already applied and get approved. Don't accept. If you haven't applied - don't. The rent may be moderately cheap for the area, however it is way too expensive for what you receive and how you are treated.
I lived here for 6 months and was not impressed.
Upon move-in the oven didn't work, a maintenance request was... mailed to Vegas (as required) and it took them over a month to replace the oven in the apartment unit. Any other requests submitted either went ignored or took over a month to get things fixed.
About three months in signs of rats started appearing. So we talked to the property manager and mailed another request form.
Skip to month five, we've talked to the manager several times sent in another request and still heard nothing. Also, upon talking to other residents, we found out that rats have been a problem for years and the owners/managers have never done anything about it.
Finally after submitting a 30 day notice, with another note about the rats, they send in maintenance to deal with the rats and we get blamed for all the damage saying we should have contacted them earlier. Also nothing was actually done to get rid of the rats at that point.
Upon receiving the final bill, they are charging us for rat damage among other things that were broken upon move in or that maintenance never dealt with when we lived there. They also billed for days that we did not live in the apartment as they started the 30 days from the time they received the 30 day notice, not from when it was sent.
The apartments grounds are also not kept up (lots of potholes, broken mailboxes) and many of the residents smoke pot regularly in the evenings which can leave your apartment smelling like it the next day if you forget to close your windows at night. There also were a lot of loud neighbors at night and a fair bit of police activity.
The last problems are that the office is rarely open, the on-site manager is hardly around and EVERYTHING has to be mailed to Vegas including rent.
If you do move in to these apartments, document everything very well and date it. Photos, copies of all forms, videos - everything you can think of. Also, don't expect to get your deposit back, because you probably won't.
