Apartments in Lousy Shape. Bad Plumbing/Electrical. Poor Management
This is the only time I've ever left a bad review for an apartment complex.
I moved there in April of 2020, during the height of the lockdowns and the pandemic. I appreciate that some corners would have had to have been cut, but...
I've had nonstop plumbing problems since I was there. It was so bad part of the ceiling in the bathroom was in danger of collapse on my head. Even after that was fixed, there were other nonstop plumbing problems. Water to the building was frequently cut off to... try and repair this, but it was never fixed even though the tickets would have been marked as "closed."
Becuase I liked maintenance/mangement at that time and I worked remotely, I let it drop.
Finally, upon moving out, I was hit with a bill for repairs which--on my end--should have been counted as normal wear-and-tear. Nonstop plumbing issues and more meant my carpet needed work, but it could have been professionally cleaned during the 2+ years I lived there. Instead, they hit me up for the bill which I'm sure is going toward all the other repairs they should have done before I ever moved in.
Don't even get me started on the lack of security there...
If I had it all to do over again, I never would have lived there.
Pity as I had (past-tense) liked management and maintenance. That's changed.
