We love it here

The first thing you will notice when you drive through Amberley is how clean and well-kept the grounds are. There is no clutter on people's porches or patios, the sidewalks are well-maintained and at night, it is very well lit. The manager is very diligent in getting any issues solved and everyone is always very professional and friendly. We love how convenient my apartment is to shopping at Wegmans, McCaffery's, Giant , Kohls, Home Goods and the malls. We also love our covered parking spot and... the large storage closet. Coming from a home to an apartment, we needed very bit of storage.

Beware of their move-out charges

I have been a resident at this apartment for four years. When I moved in, the apartment did not have brand new carpet. I believe the walls were newly painted. After four years of residence, we were charged a whole month worth of move-out charges totalling over $1600,including "oxygenating treatment" for the "bad smell." ( I think this is ridiculous, as "bad smell" is such subjective opinion.) This is in additional to the $200 I had in deposit, as well as $200 I have spent in professionally... cleaning the carpet. (This is specified as a must do on the lease.) In any case, I think close to $2000 in move-out charge is ridiculous when the apartment had absolutely no damages and that normal wear and tear of living in a place for 4 years in inevitable. Before you move in, make sure you consider their notorious move-out charges.

Best apartment

If you're looking for a great apartment in a prime location this is your spot! It's a beautiful location the complex is friendly! In 5 years I've never had any major issues and if I had any problems they would be fixed within 24 hours. There is a gym and tennis courts here which makes it easy to get a quick workout in if its a busy day! It's so close to the local community college and everything you need is a 3 minute drive away!
