How Is This Rating Determined?

Its alright

1. Location is okay but the driveways are a pain to get in and out of because neither driveways are designated for exit or entrance so you will almost crash into someone coming out. This is a hazard because people coming off of Lawrence road are speeding due to the driveways to the apartment complex are on an incline so when you're slowing down to go to either driveways, you could get rear ended. It also near a creek. Which is nice scenery but on warm days, it smells like a creek so opening your... windows can be a huge turn off. Since it is near a creek, you will often run into wild life including: Deer and Geese. The Geese often come onto the parking lot and poop EVERYWHERE. Also they are extremely territorial, so careful going to your car during mating season and warmer times! 2. This complex is advertised as non-smoking but they have current Tenants who smoke in their Units. Management will send out a mass email about smoking in units as a reminder that it is grounds for termination but it is harder to evict a Tenant than to find new ones who will not smoke in their units. The cigarette smoke comes through the floors at all hours of the day so when you come home, your apartment smells like an ashtray.
3. Dog-friendly, which is nice but there are Tenants here who walk their dogs and let them poop in the grass and leave the poop there. So watch your step if you're walking in the grass! There are often bags of dog poop sitting outside of the dumpster.
4. Parking: can be an absolute nightmare. If you do not come home at 2-4pm on a weekday, good luck getting a good parking spot.
5. I saved the best for last: Mail Rooms! 60% chance your package is getting stolen by your neighbor. There is no buzz-in security systems for all buildings, so everyone (including people off of the street or food delivery drivers) can just come into your vestibule and pick up the amazon packages sitting there. Your own neighbors will steal from you if the package is appealing enough. Last year, someone stole someone's shoes that were ordered. It comes in a Famous Footwear shipping box, so you can guess that it's shoes and the shoes were someone's bridal shoes! People will open your amazon packages that come in the bubble mailers just to see what you got and will either keep it or leave it opened on the floor because they decided it wasn't something they needed (thanks I guess?).
