I lived there for 16 years and the only reason I left was because I purchased my own home. Otherwise, I would still be a resident. The office manager, Denise, is outstanding. She handles things quickly and efficiently, she is personable and knowledgeable and I cannot complement her enough on her management skills. The maintenance man, Randy, is equally as impressive. South Shore Apartments has been my home for a little over two years. The one bedroom units are large enough to spread out in and are very reasonably priced. The second and third floor apartments have a small balcony that can easily fit two chairs and a small table - great for enjoying the nice weather.

Residents are typically quiet - a good mix of ages, starting to trend towards younger adults who have busy schedules. Maintenance is there to help in a timely manner, but I have never had a... problem with my apartment. The sidewalks are well kept during the winter and they have someone plow the parking lot as well which is a huge help on those snowy Erie days. There are also plenty of parking spaces for residents and guests.

These apartments are just far enough from downtown (10/15 minutes) and are about 5 minutes from the local Giant Eagle, Panera, Applebee's, Walmart, and fast food chains. It is a great location if you are looking to be close to the city while enjoying the peace and quiet of the Harborcreek area.
