staff sucks
Horrible, horrible staff at their main office. Extremely rude, disorganized, and unprofessional. I have had countless issues in my one single year living here. The day I moved in, they had to go through four sets of keys before they could figure out which ones worked for my door. Otto himself had to walk to and from the office in the heat to try and mess with the doorknob. He was always slightly confused. I am not even sure he still works there anymore! The window in my room didn’t close all the... way or lock. The screen was popping loose constantly. The outdated rotted wood floorboard pieces would pop up and my roommate and I would literally trip on them. The garbage disposal broke a couple times and the dishwasher was flooding into the apartment below me, which took forever to get fixed and the repair men that hardly came were always high and unable to fix the issue the first couple times. Flooding happened at least five times. I called many, many times about issues and they would either “have to get back to me” or would “address the issue shortly”. They never understood what was going on or kept track of anything that was wrong! So after my year here, I moved out thankfully, and they charged me a whopping $1,100 for “cleaning and repairs” that was simply inaccurate. I was STUNNED! They listed things that were already issues here! And of course when I called I argued with someone that I’ve never heard of before in the office and Allison. They were wildly incorrect about their statements but would not budge on anything whilst citing “common sense” and morals….but could not prove anything they were using to argue. It is clearly just to get insane amounts of money from college students (by the way, thats the majority of who lives here, and it frequently reeks of pot). It is terrible what they think they can get away with. DO NOT LIVE HERE if you want to deal with such a confusing and expensive mess of a complex.

Property Manager at Cambridge Hall Apartments responded to this review
We're sorry to hear that your experience with Cambridge Hall Apartments was not positive. Looking through our work order history, we do not have a unit that experienced "flooding at least five times." Unfortunately, we are unable to respond directly... to a particular unit since you have chosen to post your review anonymously however, I will explain Cambridge Hall's policy regarding maintenance repairs.
When a resident reports a maintenance repair to be addressed, for non-emergencies Maintenance will respond with 24-48 hours. If a resident does not report repair items, we cannot address them. When a resident provides notice to vacate at their lease end, Cambridge Hall will provide a letter confirming receipt of notice and providing important steps to follow during the move out process. Any charges to a Resident’s Security Deposit are itemized and pictures provided as evidence to the charges listed on the deductions form. I hope I have provided further clarification regarding Cambridge Hall Apartment's policies also defined in our Lease Documents. Thank you for your review.
