A little back story - We have wanted to live in Haddon hall since about 2015. Finally in 2019, we made the decision to move in and we have not been disappointed. Michelle made this process so easy for us, kept in constant contact and answered every question I had. Which, by the way, was A LOT. Upon move in I found out that there was only one maintenance guy and admittedly was a little worried BUT Jake is always on it. Even during COVID, they make sure to fix maintenance requests as quickly as... possible. These two really exceeded my expectations. The apartment sizes are extremely generous, with modern touches and a beautiful back patio that over looks the community. Awesome living!

Floorplans available for this property are the best. I love the square footage and layout. It definitely has more of a home appeal as opposed to an apartment look or flow. The few maintenance concerns we have had are quickly remediated by the regular head maintenance tech Jake, or resolved by partnership with the property manager Michelle. Monthly there is a community calendar issued that includes important dates for routine maintenance, pest control, or community events (pre-Covid). My... family of 4 enjoys our apartment home.

I toured the various complexes in the West Ashley area and chose Haddon Hall Apartments because:
-overall, the complex appears to be in good shape
- there were fewer than 100 units in the complex
- there were only ground floor and 2nd floor units
- there were sufficient parking spaces in the front on each of the buildings
-the unit mail boxes and parcel boxes were located in a roofed gazebo
-there were ceiling fans and lights in each bedroom AND in the living/dining room
-each unit had its own... washer and dryer
each unit also had a programmable thermostat
-the screened porches were sizable and kept in good repair
Five years later:
- the Property Manager and Maintenance Chap respect each other and work well together
-work orders are handled in as timely a manner as possible
-rules spelled out in the lease concerning trash, recycling, pets, car maintenance, and overall noise ARE enforced politely (but firmly) by the Property Manager
I am still pleased with my choice!

We have lived in this community almost a year. It is well kept and spacious. They schedule pest control monthly (if you have issues in your apartment and your building isn’t in rotation for that month you can let the PM know and she will put your apartment on the list) we had to this once for the silverfish. We had some issues with the refrigerator when we first moved in. It was apparent the previous residents didn’t let them know there was issues due to the duck tape around the door. Once we... let the PM know she had the maintenance man there that day and then a appliance repair man the following day. We had a new refrigerator within 2 days! The staff here is wonderful and the people in this community really look out for one another. We plan on calling this our home for awhile!

If you are lucky enough to rent one of the upstairs apartments, your apartment life might be good. The staff are courteous and nice, the area is nice, and the neighbors as well. BUT these poorly built apartments are quiet noisy if your neighbors are upstairs. My toilets run when my neighbors flush, I can hear my neighbors peeing in their toilets if I happen to be in the bathroom, there is no sound deference and if you have 4 people and 2 animals (dogs) living above you...it can be quiet... noisy especially if they are rambunctious children. So while there is serenity of area, there is not peace and quiet. I have lived here almost a year and have yet to be able to sleep in because my neighbors pounce out of bed every am around 6, if something drops it can shake the very windows. I am writing truthful items when have been disclosed to the management, however they feel it is normal noise level. I have lived in many apartments over the years and I have never experienced this noise level. I can even hear their vacuum running, (I might at 6:25 AM). So if you can score an upstairs unit...go for it...if not...would say pass...
