There are lots of apartment complexes in this area. What sets Shadowmoss Pointe apart from any other place I've lived is the staff and maintenance team. The office staff are unfailingly courteous and polite , constantly work to find fun/interesting things for the community to do, and respond to any question or concern promptly.
The repair/maintenance crew response time is AMAZING. Example: I woke up at 3:30 am Sat to discover that my refrigerator was making loud, weird noises. I put a... repair order in right then, worried that it might break down and my food would go bad. Alan, a member of the maint. crew, was at my door by 9:40 am the *same morning* and had it fixed shortly after.
The grounds are neatly kept and clean, the trash is regularly taken care of, (wish they did recycling, though) and there is consistent, effective pest control.
I have always felt safe here, the residents are typically very respectful and friendly. This is a VERY dog friendly place, with lots of pet stop areas with bags provided, and every staff person I've met has been wonderful to my dog. One downside is that the dog park is small and because it is low-lying, often unusable if it has rained recently.
NOTE: There is a train track, often used, that runs very close by the apartments. It bothered me the first week, but now it hardly registers unless I'm outside. Still, be sure to check to see where your potential apartment is with respect to the tracks.

The Girls Samantha Nicole and Jennifer were outstanding they did everything that I asked of them Maintenance requests were done quickly Neighborhood is safe,quite and well kept

I just moved here and I absolutely love my townhome. I was able to rent one that had a small fenced in yard which is great for my dog. The office staff has been very helpful with my move and I really like the community.

I'm a full time college student. But my apartment complex is not bad but our dishwasher and washing machine has been broken for months now and they haven't tried to get a new one they just keep trying to fix the broken dish washer and washing machine. The A/C unit is always freezing up and not working.
