Nice Apartment, Great Location, Service Not So Much
My apartment is a nice apartment, the location is great, but there are consistent failures to make timely repairs and respond to repair work orders.
Additionally, the move in process is disorganized, unprofessional, and overall awful.
Once you've moved in, as long as you do not need assistance from the office, the experience of living here is quite pleasant. Hallways and common areas are kept with a reasonable level of maintenance.
The only significant complaint that I would have about my... apartment itself is the laundry machine that is provided. During the tour, expectations were set that the machine would take about four hours. But in my experience, it takes on average six hours, and up to eight hours, to do one small load of laundry. While having anything at all in the unit is a plus, these machines are truly awful. If you try to open it after pausing during the drying cycle, or soon after cycle completion, it locks and will not let you open the machine until it completely cools down.
Lastly, some of the staff are pleasant people, kind, and helpful. However, some staff are rude, unprofessional, and uncaring.
In one specific instance, I went in person to the office to get assistance with a work order that was not being acknowledged via email (the designated and only way to submit work orders) and the staff member kept interrupting me over and over again telling me that I had to do things that I had already done, which they would have known had they taken the time to listen to my two minute explanation of the problem I was facing.
Overall, this property is ok. I love the location, and the facilities available are good. Poor service from the staff really holds this apartment building back from being great.
