Braxton at Woods Lake Apartments

I thought I liked it here at first, but I plan on leaving when my lease is up. It’s hard to get maintenance here. They add on fees, I’ve had a fee dated 10/1/24-10/30/24, that’s been added every month, that’s been 4 months ago and it’s still being attached and I’ve already paid it. There’s a window I’ve had to place plastic bags over to keep the cold air out because no one will come fix it , I’ve put in request. The dryer takes over 4, 1 hour cycles to completely dry 1 load of clothes. It’s a... lot of outlets that don’t work in my apartment. They say cable is included in my rent , but none of my channels have worked. when you send out request or emails they never respond. Not to mention I’m on the 3rd floor, there’s no elevator for you to lug heavy furniture up or groceries. The trash pick up is awful, some days they don’t come, and 1 day they ripped off trash bags I had tied together & left some of the trash in my trash can for days . Would NOT recommend it here. It’s pretty cool the only things is I feel like folks should have poop bags for their dogs instead it being all on the ground where people have to walk and eventually stepping in it. Everyday I have to watch where I step while walking to my apartment.

there were a lot of things wrong with our unit when we first moved in. we had to put in multiple work orders. the lights are very yellow and dim.

The apartment did not look anything like the pictures on the website. I was very disappointed. Overall the staff is really nice and friendly.

There is a good amount of space for the price. Closets are all great. The complex is old but they are working on refreshing. Maintenance can be slow but the new manager seems to be getting caught up finally.
