Please do not let this place fool you. It may be affordable but you get what you pay for. Moving in, my lease stated that there was a swimming pool as an amenity. When I moved in, they were filling it in and never stated such. They drove up the rent price for water, but took away the pool?? Doesn't make a lot of sense. Now they are enforcing parking permits for THEIR lack of parking availability. I say that because they allow many people to live in ONE apartment, but are now mad because there... isn't any parking. I'm fairly certain they don't actually do background checks due to the multiple drug dealers scattered through the buildings. But if you bring up concerns of that kind, they do nothing about it. The balconies are so ridden with carpenter bees, and are such a safety hazard, including missing boards but nobody seems to care. The bug problem is alarming at the least, and the walls do not meet with the floors in many of the rooms of the apartment, suggesting structural damage. Overall, I suggest anybody avoid this complex at all costs. I regret ever moving here.

I have lived at Cambridge arms for several years now, I love my apartment! Its very large and all the closet space is awesome. The buildings are a bit older but well taken care of. If i ever have a problem the office and maintenance usually have it taken care of the same day. Every now and then I can hear my neighbors but no more than at any of my friends apartments. I have read some of the other reviews and I have never had a problem with bugs at all and the laundry room is not a problem... either. Some people are just unhappy no matter what.

I lived here a year with my sister as a "transition apartment" - it was cheap, in a great location, and we thought the brick and light blue accents made for a pleasant aesthetic. We honestly did not expect much or plan to stay long, but I loved living here! I had great neighbors, no problems with noise (we were on the top floor, so that might've helped), any problems we had were attended to in a reasonable time by maintenance, and 1,000 sq ft was plenty of space for us at a great price! It's... an older building and the interior could have looked better - things like light fixtures, wall color, appliances, and linoleum/carpet - however, we expected as much for the price and after our own touch it looked great and was very cozy. The smell of pot in the halls did get a tad annoying, but our neighbors were nice people. I loved how it was tucked out of the way hidden in the trees, but still near a prominent intersection (Northshore Dr and Kingston Pike). The roomy balconies were a huge plus for us as well. The property manager could be difficult to get in touch with, but once we got her, she was always helpful, and there was also an emergency maintenance line if needed. All in all, we had very few problems and it was a great place to live. I moved because I started making more money and thought I'd upgrade, but I miss this place! The location for that price can't be beat!
