I'm suing!!!
2 nights ago my car was illegally towed. When I was headed to class I discovered my car was missing the next morning. I went to the office and Tabitha the office manager stated my car was towed because my decal wasn't there. I stated that is false my decal is on the double dashboard of my 2015 Honda. It has never been moved. She argued back and forth with me and stated there was nothing she could do. I called the police and filed a report and once they arrived she finally spoke with the towing... company. The tow company stated they see my decal and it must have fell onto my seat from the dashboard when being towed. They took a picture and sent it to Tabitha where she sent it to me and my decal was in fact visible and The Towing company stated they would release my vehicle if someone pays and Tabitha stated to TPA to have my car brought back. Once the police left because they thought my issue was resolved, Tabitha tells me to call the TPA because he will not release my vehicle and she cannot do anything. I called the TPA guy named Charles who authorized the towing of my vehicle due to not doing his job and he stated he wasn't releasing anything unless I paid almost $200.00. At this point Im furious because the apt complex and towing company admitted they were at fault and would release it if TPA pays for his mistake. Charles TPA stated no. Charles and I argued back and forth for him to tell me he will not release my car because I had an attitude problem and that I can pay if I want to get it out otherwise it will accrue fees daily. Charles was very rude and disrespectful cursing and threatening me and he hung up in my face several times. He also ignored quite a few calls too.At this point I am even more pissed off because not only do I have proof from the apartment complex manager that you illegally towed my car, but now you are holding it based on a personal vendetta. I finally went to pick up my vehicle around 3 from Express towing on Spence Lane having to pay almost $200.00 for their mistake and I called the management company over the apartment. I spoke with Judy with Broad management and she stated she will try to have my issue resolved and call back. I never received a call back and I called her on the second day to get an update and left a message. I am currently seeking legal aid to file a lawsuit against TPA and Highland cove apartments for illegally towing my vehicle which I missed school and work and holding my car due to not doing their job.
