Disappointing management not caring of tenants needs
We have lived here for almost four years and in that time paid almost 125k in rent. We’re good tenants, never late on rent or caused any problems. We rent a townhouse unit which has been a great space for us after selling a house. We like our neighbors, the area, how close it is to the metro and trails. The pools are also fantastic for an apartment community in Austin, although they could use new furniture and updating. That’s the nice, now for the bad. Good management and office staff have been... absent throughout our time here and there is little support and care for tenants and our issues. Maintainence is overloaded and although those guys are great, they’re overworked and also not supported by the mgmt. We’ve had HVAC issues constantly for our time here (units at end of their life span) and have had 15+ work orders with fixes put off or not fully resolved. Most recently we had a very loud clanking sound only to be told we were running our unit too hard. Never had an issue for 3.5 years. We’ve also been under construction for over a year. Our townhouses since February. During that time, the construction company has frequently entered our unit without any notice. I’ve repeatedly asked the management, by email and in person, to honor our lease agreement and respect our requests to be notified first. They simply have not done so. It’s very disconcerting to come home yet again and find that workmen have been in our home. We have a 15 year old son who has been at home hiding in his room when they’ve entered and still they continue to do so with a minor at home alone. Construction was to have been completed months ago and it’s still not done. Other maintainence is not done on the community and our parking garage has a severe desecrated pigeon poop issue with cars and surfaces under a thick layer of toxic dust—something that again is not addressed. Any communication is missing, late or confusing. We’ve had other events and issues arise also but I’ve already aired so much info.This community would be great if the staff truly cared for tenants past the time they’re leasing the unit to you. We don’t plan to move but wish they’d respect and care for us as they should.

As the... new community manager onsite, I hope that after our discussion and implementation of new procedures, you start to see an improvement in the level of service you are receiving, in addition to an improved living enviornment.
