Amazing Community and Staff

My experience living at Reveal has been nothing short of AMAZING. Beatrice helped me tremendously back in January as I transitioned from Florida to Texas. Angela the assistant property manager has been extremely helpful, understanding, and accommodating as well. Moving in was seamless, my apartment is gorgeous, and maintenance is incredibly prompt when fulfilling service requests (most times same day) I was more than happy and eager to renew my lease here and to call Reveal home.

S Class Service All around

I am a QA professional, and I call it like I see it, so when I write this review, you will know that I am not being “sponsored” or just throwing my two cents in for a bonus or perk.

My experience with Mansions of Onion Creek has been nothing but positive with S class service. The staff in the leasing office is friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. Any questions I have had they are always there to answer and help, no matter how "silly" the question may be. Upon moving in, I had a few problems...
with the apartment, one of the major components was the AC didn't work (it was about 90 degrees in the apartment) and the water smelled bad. However, despite these "major" issues, I did not get upset because it is natural for things to be a bit rusty when moving into an apartment. That is what inspection lists and work orders are for (and opening windows lol). But what really blew me away was the turnaround time and professionalism of the maintenance team. When I put in a work order to fix the A/C and water heater issue, it took the maintenance team less than 3 hours to come and fix my issue. I believe the Maintenance team is the true MVPs because it seems that they really try to fix any concern within a 24–48-hour window and my fixes only took a few hours. So, kudos to the maintenance team for being BAMF’s and to the leasing office for ensuring everything runs smoothly.

As far as the complex goes, the complex is in a great location and is conveniently close to all the essentials. If you go 5-10 miles north or south of the complex, you are bound to get anything you need for your daily life. It is right on the edge of South Austin, so getting into the city is rather quick (even with the regular commute traffic), and the people in the complex seem to be friendly and just trying to live their lives the best they can (like the rest of us).

Now, I will say, the only “problems” with the apartment (and I would not even say they are problems necessarily) is since the complex is relatively new, there is construction going on in the area, some typos on the resident portal, and potentially noisy neighbors. However, the fact that they are doing construction and fixing things around the complex (on top of doing it all in a timely manner) just goes to show the dedication and professionalism of the Mansions of Onion Creek team. As far as noisy neighbors go, that's just natural with apartment living and that's why you go talk to your neighbor and become friends.

Home sweet home!

I've only been here for a few months and all I can say is Jessica and Tori have gone above and beyond for me. They make sure you feel welcomed, they listen to any concerns or questions you might have. Coming from a community where the office staff was never available, it feels amazing to end up at a place where it truly feels like home!

Barking dogs allowed on the patio

There's a large dog in building 13 that's allowed on the patio at all times which ruins the peaceful atmosphere of this section by barking at anyone and everyone it sees in the parking lot. Avoid buildings 11, 12, 13, 14, or 15 if you move here. To management: give this tenant a violation and fix this problem and I'll come back and delete this review.

I've lived in a community before where management made excuses for barking dogs, so if you like peace and quiet, take this warning seriously...
before you move here.

“luxury” apartments

I see all the reviews on here and wonder how I did not have the same experience. Guess not everyone gets treated the same at this property.

I gave management a whole lot of time before posting this. I have been back and forth with office management and the regional manager for the area. I have emailed and given plenty of time for them to respond and I am constantly having to reach out and follow up as office management or upper management do not respond. The regional manager has been at the...
property all week and has not reached out once to follow up with me. They do, however, make time to send threatening emails around the beginning of the month in regards to rent payments. They are very quick to collect our money but never resolve any resident concerns. Office staff, with the exception of Chris, are not helpful at all and pretend to help you but never get anything done unless of course they are getting a commission out of it. I also have the loudest neighbors upstairs and I honestly do not think anything is being done about it. Now I know living in an apartment complex we will have some noise, but Mansions at Onion creek advertise both in their website and brochures that the apartments have 18” cellulose noise reducing insulation. I don’t believe this to be true as I can hear people in the hallway like they are inside my home. I can hear the neighbors dog like he is in my home. I can hear my upstairs neighbors showering, flushing the toilet, vacuuming (which I don’t understand since we have vinyl floor), walking, running, jumping, you name it! Now they are purposely being loud all the time. Walking, running, dragging things, bouncing balls, & God knows what else. Imagine not being able to sleep or comfortably sit in your living room because there is so much pounding and noise. I constantly have to leave MY HOME because the noise is unbearable. Imagine paying a lot of money for a luxury apartment only to find out you were better off at a more affordable place because you had less issues there. These apartments are being advertised as luxury apartments and to be honest the only luxury I have is my sunroom. Floors are literally a sticker (not hardwood or faux hardwood & everything is pretty standard. There is nothing luxurious about this place. They charge for everything including ceiling fans. You’d think a luxury apartment came with those right? Security access has not been installed as advertised. Pool hasn’t opened. Gym is only open office hours and by
