First month review.

I've only been here for a month. So far it's not too bad. Can't hear anything through the walls unless you're pounding directly on them, so I don't get annoyed by neighbors and I don't have to worry about annoying the neighbors. Rent is affordable, nice when there's only one source of income. Appliances aren't new, but still from this decade. Walls and floor are fresh, nothing in disrepair.

Downsides: Layout for a single bedroom apartment is obviously made for a couple living together rather...
than single person. Windows and doors are not sound proofed, I can hear every word when someone speaks outside my door or window.

Hard to find anything else wrong but I haven't been here long enough.

good property

Good property.

Our apt is entirely slanted down. enough you can feel it when you walk through to the bedroom. If water falls it goes back to the bedroom. The walls have some foundation cracks but nothing overly noticable.

Our car was broken into. My purse was stolen along with everything not nailed down. Then half of my stuff was returned in one of my reusable bags. Set 2 feet from my car, so I assume whoever did it lives in this complex. Mostly it was my car insurance forms, trash and my...
reusable bags. They kept the purse... But I was assured that this was a very rare thing. management was nice about it but there are no security cameras in the parking lot so not much we can do.

A few weeks later around 1 am, we woke up to the loud pounding of a S.W.A.T. team breaking into the apart across from us. Management was quiet on the whole thing. Rumours from neighbors were that it was a guy illeagally selling guns. We were told that he was banned from the property and to call management and the police if we saw him again. He was seen a few times near that apt after the incident. Management was called but he left before they could get here.

Shawn the manager is off site but is very helpful and responsive via text and email. We moved from out of state to Austin and Shawn was super helpful.

The maintainece guy is awesome and quick. Had a overflowing toilet twice. Where we woke up to a pool of water around the toilet and tub. maintainece guy was there at 9 am the next day to fix it.

Parking only wraps around the front of the building so if you live in the back buildings expect to walk. Also with the corporate offices in front you get alot of people parking over their lines making it difficult to get out.

This is a great property for dogs. Limited dog fees and no pet rent. Plus a nice sized courtyard to walk in. Also in the neighborhood behind is a dog park that is only about a 5 min walk.

Pool is nice and just got respackled. In the time I have lived here it has been closed about 2 or 3 times by the city of Austin. Usually we arent told why its been closed. But this last time it was closed for about 2 ish weeks.

laundry on site is good. if one breaks they are usually fixing it pretty fast.

They have good preventative pest control. I have only seen one cockroach.
