Don’t move into a bottom unit
So many problems with these apartments. Roaches in the summertime is a big one. Also lack of communication between management and tenants is a huge one. But the biggest problem I deal with on a day to day basis is that I am in a bottom unit and can hear every single thing my above neighbors do... when they flush the toilet, when they wake up (their alarms), when they use their disposal, when she is wearing heels, when their dog gets excited, etc. Also management didn’t even tell me that my rent... was going to be raised $200 after I’ve lived here for 2 years. They painted the outside, stripped out the tile for laminate floors and upgraded some cabinets and still continue to not fix my front door that doesn’t shut, and the roach problems. But yea... go ahead and jack my price up $200 without warning. Makes total sense.
