Villas of Ocean Drive

I just wanted to say that I have lived at The Villas since they first starting leasing apartments over three years ago. I LOVE MY APARTMENT HOME!!! There was still construction going on when I moved in but it was all completed a long time ago and I now enjoy ALL of the awesome amenities that we have available to us on a daily basis. Heated pool, parking garage with 3 elevators and assigned parking, clubhouse and workout room, valet trash and convenient trash shoots!
Not to mention an on-site… security person, and the truly fabulous staff, Jenny, Victoria and Stephanie!!!!! Are they perfect ? No but who is? Do they take care of any and all requests promptly and efficiently YES !!!!!! I am 60 years old and will most likely live here forever!! I have established friendships here with the staff and the long time residents. We are a family, a community. If you read any negative reviews about this place they are probably from people that are negative on a regular basis that didn’t try to work with the staff to resolve whatever issues they had. They increased the price after the first year by an enormous amount and did not give a fair warning

Do not rent these apartments. Bad experience. I called about trying to move into apartments. I was told to go to a website to place application and deposit to secure apartment. I immediately did so, did the application fee of $35 dollars and deposits of $250. I applied and go the apartment with in 4 - 5 days. I did not want to move in until a little over a month and half. So I had the apartment for approximately two weeks. I decided I did not want the apartment because I accepted a… position in another area and was told IMMEDIATELY.. You would not be able to get your deposit back because of the time we had to hold your apartment. I called management and the corporate office, I took 2 - 3 days before they called me back and was told that information is on lease, however you don't get a copy of the lease until you move in... SMART... So to sum it all up I basically paid $250 to an apartment complex for two weeks and I never lived there. Awful experience with this apartment, horrible policy will never rent an apartment again, they are not looking out for the residence just trying to get all the money needed up front. Read More

I accepted an offer for a new position earlier this month and needed to find a place to live in Corpus Christi, rather quickly. After doing some research online, I reached out to the leasing center through Apartments.com. I was promptly contacted by Maranda, the Assistant Manager, for the Villas. She asked me what I was looking for and what I was looking to pay per month. Without getting into too many details, I am extremely pleased with the complex and its amenities. Maranda has been absolutely… wonderful and has delivered on everything that I was looking for. The complex has a great view of the bay, and is a short 10 minute drive to the shopping centers and mall. As a brand new resident I couldn't be happier.
