I do truly believe that the leasing agent that I had has a very nonchalant personality, which made my move process a little different because typically most people are excited about moving into an apartment! I was super excited, but I do feel like throughout the process. There was no proper communication regarding my unit and when I brought up the point about my apartment smelled like smoke he acted like he didn’t know what to do and so I requested to talk to the manager and he told me that yeah... I should talk to the manager about that because they already cleaned the apartment and that’s all they can do for me. I ended up doing my own method and figuring out how to get the smell out myself however it was disappointing to me to have a leasing agent that just was so nonchalant in terms of my concerns about my unit, considering that I did not receive a deal because I got the one bedroom apartment with the attached garage . I’ve paid my full amount in full, including the application fee and security deposit .I’m also paying my full amount of rent with no specials so I do really value a unit that smells clean and is clean and free of issues. It does disappoint me that I had to call maintenance in for issues that should’ve been addressed before I moved in as this unit was sitting available for at least 2 to 3 weeks before I moved. Another flag about my leasing agent was when I arrived. My keys were not ready and he had to come out to connect my garage key and I felt like that that should’ve been done previously as I called and spoke to Richard the previous day stating that I would be in to see Daitrell tomorrow to move in, and I was super excited about that. Not only did that take up time for me to sit and wait for my keys. I waited about an hour to two to get my keys which led to my movers being delayed in me having to pay more with my movers. I do love my unit. I also would like to make a note that I did not receive communication as to how I received my packages. I want to throw that in there to make sure that communication doesn’t get bypassed moving forward as they are moving in other residents. I just really hope that they take this into consideration and how they move forward.
