Public Transportation

The City of Dallas created a bike lane that extends along Tyler/Vernon Ave and connects to other streets in the area.

The Local Area

Wynnewood Village is across the street perfect for shopping, dining or exercise. The center includes Kroger, LA Fitness, Tops Café, El Rancho Super Mercado, Citi Trends, Chase Bank, Sherwin Williams, Cane’s, and several other quick serve restaurants. Wynnewood Village is going through a multi-phased revitalization and will soon be home to additional retail buildings, public spaces, and new freestanding shops and stores along Illinois Ave.

Southern Gateway Park is currently being developed for the community of Oak Cliff by the community of Oak Cliff. Once finished, this upper deck park will span Interstate 35 between Ewing and Marsalis Avenues. The park serves as a place for the people of Oak Cliff to gather and connect.
