The Woodlands of Denton Apartments

We have lived here for a little over 4 years. The first apartment we moved into had mold damage due to a leak under the foundation. It ruined over $2000 worth of personal items. We were reimbursed for a mattress. Come to find out that a few years earlier the tenants before us had the same mold issue. Terrible Customer service, Rent has increased $500 in 2 years with absolutely no changes to the apartments themselves, Carpets are flat from years of use, Cheap parking system, Broken down Gym... I choose this apartment for the amazing-looking pool. Unfortunately, it is only open from the end of May to the beginning of August and is closed frequently during that time for maintenance. If you are looking for relief from the Texas heat or want to enjoy the sun and work on your tan I would choose somewhere else. And there is dog poop everywhere. The office does not enforce picking up after your dog.

A huge reason I choose this apartment was for the pool.
Frustratingly, the pool is only open from the end of May to the beginning of August and is closed frequently for maintenance during that time. What's the point of having a pool if it's only open for a little over 2 months out of the entire year??

As far as my apt goes, yes its cute and clean. parking is horrible. i have to park three buildings away sometimes. office never answers. dog poop everywhere! they don't inforce the clean up after your pet rules. Manager is never in the office.
