El Dorado Apartments, simply put is not like the El Dorado from the history books as a city of gold. There is no peace living here because most residents are families of 5 or more in a 2 bedroom living space. Its loud and the noise continues well into the night, there is no peace and quiet living here. The amenities are slim and in poor condition (laundromat is always faulty with several washers and dryers out of order). The management doesn't "care" enough to fix the problem and maintenance... lacks the motivation to fix even the simpest task. The parking is also an issue with people who don't live here parking in spaces reserved for residents, there is shaded parking on the upper exterior of the complex that also brings unwanted guests who take the space to "work" on their vehicles or park while they go eat at the nearby Luby's restaurant.
There are a lot of issues inside the apartment's as well, poor carpeting and filthy tile that should be cleaned after one resident leaves but is never done. There are also faulty pipes in the bathroom causing leaks that could very well compromise the structural integrity of the apartment.
There is also a neighboring University that has new dorm rooms for students that will also create unwanted traffic and noise.
These are just a few issues you face living here.
