They flooded my apartment and wouldn't let me move
When my apartment was flooded by a faulty apartment water heater it destroyed much of my family's stuff and made a mold smell that made my family very sick. The apartment wouldn't have flooded as badly had their maintenance known what they were doing. It took them almost 5 hours to stop the flooding. They had to keep calling back up from other properties to try to figure out how to shut off the flooding. I asked to be moved to another apartment they said they had none. I then asked to be let out... of my lease and they wouldn't let me do that. I had to leave for my family's sake and they listed me as an eviction and put me into collections. I don't know how they expected us to live in a place that was literally making us sick. Rent here at your own risk.
