I pray this is a sign to AVOID these apartments at ALL COSTS!

I PRAY this is the sign you’re looking for to AVOID THIS APARTMENT at all costs, it is an embarrassment. I never write reviews, but hope this can save someone. If you care about your quality of life (not exaggerating) I beg of you, do NOT move here, there are other apartments. Also, visit this complex more than once, and you’ll see the piles of trash in the streets, gutters hanging from the sides of the building, unlicensed maintenance men that go into your apartment without permission (I had a... camera inside of my apartment), and stray cats everywhere. Please do not buy into their cheap apartments and “upcoming renovations” excuse. The property manager SHANNON, is a JOKE and will use her passive attitude to start an argument, this has happened with several residents!

No water for days or AC/Heat: A/C and heat has broken down 10 times since living here. Unlicensed maintenance men never fixed the problem. The entire apartment complex was without water for 2 weeks during the holidays and their explanation for fixing it was to give out buckets to take from the dirty pool water to place in our toilets to flush. This is a health hazard!

No amenities, pest control, or trash valet: They will still charge you monthly. Mailroom is closed and all of your mail gets redirected or lost to the local post office, packages are also stolen every now and then. The pool hasn’t been open in the 2 years of living here, but can be seen brown and full of “gunk” at the top. Okay, lastly, THERE ARE ROACHES. They do not have pest control here, I have never seen a van, person, or company that provides pest control in 2 years

You will pay for amenities that you can’t utilize because they are broken down 90% of the time!

Don’t waste your time.

Go ahead and try every other apartment complex on eastchase besides this one. ALL OF THE REVIEWS ARE TRUE. I was in my apartment from may 18th of 2022 - June 20th with no working A/c i was initially told give it 7 - 10 days for the issue to be resolved but it took 30+ days to move me (i have proof of work orders from June of 2021 till may 18th all from the ac. There was a leak and instead of ordering parts when they first noticed they waited till it went all the way out) . That office new i had... a newborn because i called the front office (when they answered cause they definitely never do) and corporate to let them know that my baby had developed heat rash and so me just playing the waiting game wasn’t going to work. I had to call code compliance to come out and they said my home was inhabitable and gave the office 24hours to have it fixed. That didn’t do anything. Fast forward to June 20th 2022, we move into a new “move in ready unit” I’ll start off by saying that Code compliance has already been to this NEW unit and it still is NOT in compliance. Thought i was done ? No They told me on June 21- 23rd that someone was going to come in and re wire our laundry room because somehow someway they covered and painted over the outlet. It’s now July 2nd of 2022 and i still cannot use my washer because no one has been sent to fix the issue. The dishwasher in the “ready” apartment had to be replaced as soon as i moved in because it didn’t power on at all. It still reaches 80 degrees in the apartment and they want us to believe it’s normal so bad and i would’ve if code compliance hadn’t came out and said the a/c was up to code. Now for all the troubles you would think that you’d be compensated for the inconveniences…. Oh no hunny it’s against their policy. My rent hasn’t been prorated, I’ve had to buy my own ac unit, I’ve had to place my son in daycare cause he was breaking out in rashes staying home with me. But none of that qualifies for a concession. I’ve called the office multiple times asking for the acting manager Shannon to give me a call back about it and it never happens every time i ask for the Regional manager NOBODY can get her on the phone at all because they don’t have her number… supposedly. It’s ridiculous, ludicrous, a joke honestly. SAVE YOUR MONEY. All the reviews are true. I will say that Nicholas, and the newest lady (at the front desk) are as sweet as pie but that doesn’t negate what’s going on

the worst experience

I have lived here for almost a year and I am anxious to move to another place, the neighborhood is always dirty, the maintenance and office staff never respond, the corridors have no light and my entire stay has been uncomfortable

Please don't move here. Save Yourself.

I have been here for 3 years, and cannot wait to leave. The Management staff has gone downhill tremendously. If you like having no pools for over a year, high crime due to no intervention from Management, and trash literally everywhere... then this may be the place for you. 29 days without water so far this year. 19 days without power so far this year. All due to no infrastructure upgrades for the last 20 years.

Maintence might reply to you in 90 days. Might.

please stay away.

Don’t waste your time

This complex is reasonably priced however they’ll take your money for the application fees and never reach back out to you if you were approved or not. You give them the date you want to move in and they completely ignore it, they don’t return phone calls the two times I’ve been able to get through. My next place will be the BBB because it doesn’t make sense that part of the application process is to contact your property when ur employees can’t even answer a simple phone! Smh. I’ll be reported... the money from my account since no one is professional enough to answer phone calls.
