Great Apartments

I have been living here for about 7 months now and I have loved these apartments. They are very nice and the staff is very helpful and friendly. They have responded very quickly to all of my maintenance requests/questions and they even think of fun community activities to do safely during covid. The grounds are well-kept. The only thing I could complain about is that we are near an airport and there are lots of planes flying overhead, but I have gotten used to the noise. Overall, I could not be... more satisfied living here.

Moving in

Although I don't move in for another 10 days, I have to say that the entire process of leasing has been absolutely wonderful. The staff has been exceptional. All of the staff has such a wonderful personality and really seem to care for the residents. I am excited about moving into this community.

First Rate Staff, Very Fine Complex, Minor Issues

My wife and I lived at Mansions at Timberland for a year from April 2015-2016, and would be there still but for her job location. There were minor drawbacks but for the most part it was a superior residence.

We moved from a house in Idaho and hadn’t lived in apartments for decades, but still found it quite comfortable. VERY clean, mostly quiet, and extremely well maintained. Top notch maintenance staff who generally responded within an hour to solve any problem. They never did anything less...
than a first-rate repair job, and those that were needed were almost always small anyway.

From time to time the neighbor above would be absurdly noisy, but that can happen anywhere. On the rare occasions we complained, the manager was genuinely concerned and very responsive about dealing with it. There was a period of several weeks where the neighbor would dump cigarette butts off the balcony (landing near our front doorstep), and the manager was at least as sincerely offended as we were.

That was typically true of any issue she addressed. The staff was uniformly excellent and Angie is by far one of the most competent, diplomatic, and solution-focused professionals I’ve ever dealt with. A real joy. She jumped on anything and even solicited problems to solve. She always made you feel as if your concerns were her own.

There were some small annoyances, such as the front gates constantly being busy with cars going in or out, so you always had a (usually short) line waiting to leave or arrive. It would’ve been preferable to have no gates at all, as they actually provide no security, since all you have to do is wait two minutes and follow someone in.

Also, the speed bumps that were installed were a hindrance and – as they invariably do – did nothing to slow anyone down or provide increased safety. But people won’t let go of the illusion. Still, a minor issue.

On the whole, I would rate it 9/10. Number one on my wishlist would’ve been covered parking. Parking spaces were somewhat constrained when we arrived, but they built several new ones, relieving most of the problem, most of the time.

It’s an easy commute to the 35W or the 170, far enough but not too far from Golden Triangle. That section of Fort Worth is close to Keller and very nice, convenient to shopping without being in the middle of it, and near several upscale housing tracts.
