Follow up on my previous review titled "Good but.....". Steps around the lake have been fixed, thanks to the management and stafff. Now, if they could fix the wall, I could bump up the rating to 5.

Security concerns emanating from management not fixing damage from Hurricane Harvey.
The boundary wall next to building 2 and 4 fell through during Harvey (water rushing in from FM528 and across what used to be Walgreens, building now empty) and no repairs have happened in the last 1.5 years. Even after repeating raising this with the staff, nothing has happened. The whole point of the gated community is security and it does not make sense if the gates are closed but the boundary wall is broken....
Walkway around the lake looks great but....the concrete slabs feel more like steps, no leveling . Can't operate wheelchairs on this uneven walkway or take kids in strollers. Lost count of how many times people (kids, adults alike) stumble, stub their feet or worse, fall because they assume the walkway will be level. Sharp corners on the concrete slabs make it dangerous when kids are running and playing outside.
Great location (next to Krogers), good staff, used to be safe and secure but unfortunately, management dragging their feet on security

Roach infested, flooded apartments. May be years ago before the flooding, this was a decent place to live but no more.
The management is in a rush to let apartments without properly repairing flood damage. Roaches would appear all the time despite being sprayed because of all the gaps, cracks and missing weather stripping from the doors, which allow critters to come right back in. Garage door never shutting properly so always found roaches in the garage, missing window screens, windows still... have mud and dirt from Harvey so they do not properly shut, bath tubs with visible flooding damage that was never repaired, gaps where the new floor molding was put in after the flooding (this allows cockroaches to hide behind the sheet rock), toilets that were never properly installed so they wobble (we asked maintenance several times to come fix, never fixed), ants, ants and more ants. The ants would constantly find there way in from all the gaps left from not properly repairing screens and windows after the flooding. One night we found roach crawling up our daughter while she was sleeping.
Light pole fell in the pool area during flooding and it still was on its side when we moved out. The fireplace wall in the pool area, an entire section of bricks fell (likely during Harvey), there are no visible signs that it will be repaired.
Calls to maintenance and emails will likely go unanswered. I was told by the front staff several times that "we are overwhelmed." Several times, the staff would shut the office early, so much for the office hours.
The gate to get in to the property constantly breaks down. Someone tried to fix it several times and eventually gave up. Then the the gate would be just left open - so much for security. At other times, it would not open, so the folks living on the left side of the property would not be able to get in easily (they would have to go the opposite entrance and circle all the way around the property to get to their apartment). The gate for walkers next to the main office is missing a full section so anyone small enough can sneak right in through the gap. Pay attention to the overflowing garbage dumpsters. Folks who are working on "fixing" the still abandoned apartments just dump stuff all around the dumpsters which are supposed to be for residents. Parking is a mess.
Who knows what the mold situation is after flooding. All around a terrible place to call home.

I haven't lived in an apartment in so long, but with my recent divorce, I was forced back into the lifestyle. The Reserve at Autumn Creek has made what could have been a stressful time so easy for me. The staff is caring, the service men are caring. The complex is beauitul! I couldn't ask for more!
