Beware before you apply for residency at these apartments. The application process is completly unreasonable. I called the staff in the front office about applying for an apartment. I was told that the registration fee will be $150 and the application fee would be $50. Thats not the problem, However I noticed once this was paid I was directed to apply online ( this is were things got more than a little interesting). Towards the end of the application they wanted me allow them to access my bank... account withoout me being present. They even assured me it was safe. Well I'm a recent Graduate for Cyber Security, so you can get an idea of were my concerns are with this. I immediately stop the application and sent a requst to speak with a leasing agent. I called the front office to let them know that I didnt feel comfortable with that part of the proccess cause this was a direct violation of my right to privacy. Long story short, For my considered none compliance I was meet with strong and aggressive deposite of $1,800.00 plus the first month rent. I jokingly said to the leasing agent "if thats the case then I'll just move into a house lol". Well I was explained that they would return the $150 and they will keep the $50 even though i never completed my application process. At this time I just wanted this horrible acting Horror movie to be over with, so I agreed to the terms. I then asked "could I get that in writing to my email concerning the return of the funds". To my surprise the leasing agent said yes. Now did I ever get this email? You guessed it!!! "NO". So I attempted to reach out to them about this matter and I have been given the biggest roun around ever. Frustatration at its core, Im sure some of you can relate. Hard earned money just gone without a trace. May I also add that this is right before school starts and I have two teenagers that soley depends on me as a single parent. At first they was so nice, until I voiced my right to privacy. It really felt like they were gate keepers and I was black listed beacuse I didnt want to adhere to them accessing my bank account. This experiance has undoubtedly increased my anxiety for me and my two kids. Thank God I was able to complete another application with a diffrent apartment complex and the process wasnt nearly as complicated as Allora New Forest made it it out to be. I hardly if ever write bad reviews. I just had to warn anyone if not, everyone NOT will make the same mistake I did.
