Roach infestation!

I'm not going to lie and say its all horrible. The apartments are spacious, and the new upgrades are nice. The community is quiet for the most part and seems safe. Management is just ok at best, very hard to get them on the phone.

My biggest issue is the roach infestation. Its been a problem since the day I moved in. Pest control has made numerous visits to my apartment but the infestation keeps getting worse. Kitchen, bathroom, living room--everywhere! I clean obsessively, I don't leave food...
out. I'm at the point now where I'm defeated and disgusted. Why have pest control keep spraying chemicals all over my apt if it does nothing? The roaches have won. You can't just treat one apt if there's an infestation--everyone should be getting treatments! I just try not to be in the kitchen for too long and kill the ones I see. I don't cook as much anymore. I'm literally counting the days until my lease is up.

Office doesn't answer calls, manager doesn't return calls, & infestation.

I've lived in this complex for 5 or 6 years now. Never had any problems until September of 2019. I began to see little roaches - every. single. day. Literally, 10 of them throughout the day. Before I went to work, I would see them and when I came home from work I would see them. They eventually migrated from my kitchen (All over & 2 have been inside my refrigerator) to crawling on my coffee table in the living room to one BEING IN MY BED. The horrible manager, who no longer is over the property,... was not the least bit concerned about my problem. I had my apartment "treated" 3x between Sept - Nov. I also have always sprayed my apartment and never leave it dirty. It got slightly better in December, but January came and it picked back up. The apartments are under new management now and I complained to them sometime in January that I was still seeing roaches, daily. Once again, pest control "treated" my apartment. I called the office last Monday because I have still been seeing them. 1-3 every day. The girl I spoke with said she was a temp and would have the manager call me back. Well, that was last Monday and I have not received a call. I just called and left a message for them because within a 3 min time frame (not exaggerating) I saw 5 roaches. FIVE. I have never been so disgusted and frustrated in my entire life. Clearly whatever bait they are using is not working and more drastic measures need to take place. I have been way too patient with this and I'm fed up. I seriously hate walking into my apartment every day, because I know when I get home I will have to kill roaches. I can't wait until my lease is up. I will not be renewing! I have called the office 4x today and twice no one answered, the other 2 times the manager was "unavailable". I hate this complex so much.

Not pleased at all

At a quick glance the property looks beautiful and somewhat elegant, but as a resident it is horrible. The rent is super expensive and the apartments do not reflect what we are paying.The grounds have feces everywhere from the dogs they allow and from the stray cats they wont remove even with all the complaints. The apartment was not clean when we moved in there were roaches and roach droppings in the cabinets, toilets with rings in them, and dirty dishes left behind. Management did nothing to... compensate for the horrible conditions of the apartment. I can't wait till my lease is up. Then there is the ridiculous parking, there is not enough parking available to the amount of apartments and the visitors do not park where they are supposed to. Management also chooses to ignore these complaints and say first come first serve. The security guard is a joke all he does is smokes and text he is never walking the ground, reporting, or securing. Management does not enforce the no aggressive breed of dogs and there are multiple people living there with pit-bulls. In one of my bathrooms after 1 month of living there, above the shower water was coming leaking from the upstairs apartment.There were two armed robberies and a shoot out here at these apartment. DO NOT MOVE HERE JUST A WARNING.

ROACHmond Green Apartments

When we first moved in, the assistant in the leasing office was amazing. Our first year here was good. We had good neighbor's and everything was in order, for the most part.

We have always had a roach issue. Over the three years we have been here it has become uncontrollable. We made sure they offered pest control when we moved in. When the new assistant started, we realized that no matter how often we requested pest control, we would be lucky to get anything done.

The manager herself is...
impossible to speak with. She just nods her head and lets everything go in one ear and out the other.

Also, the residents have become increasingly bothersome and frequently turned around. It seems like every month someone is moving in or out. They have not been able to keep a resident in one of our neighboring apartments for longer than a few months at a time.

Also, the breed restrictions are rarely enforced. Pit Bulls are commonly seen.

After three years, we are very excited to be moving out!!

Richmond Green Apartment

Richmond Green Apartment is one of the best, affordable, abide-able abodes in the axes of Highway 6, Beltway 8 and Southwest Freeway. I have been living here with my family for over a year now. The premises are usually clean. The trash-cans are emptied regularly. The security is tight. When you have complaints about the toilet or the kitchen sink not flushing down properly, the service guys respond on time. The blinds are good to help you save on energy during the day, since once they are slid... up, the entire living room comes alive, brightly. That is possible because the premises have free space for light to permeate - the apartments are not jam-packed together at all. Little children can come outside too, in the evenings, and find space for soccer games. The residents here are friendly and respectful. There is no noise pollution in this environment. Yet, Kroger is just a walk away. A university - American Intercontinental University - is just across the road. And reputable companies like Phillips 66, Oasis Energy, US Energy Savings, Schlumberger, Vaalco Energy Inc, Spark Energy, and so on, are all surrounding it. For the kids, there is a school - Sneed Elementary - right across the road, and Texas Children Pediatrics, right behind it. I think this is the most sensible, cheapest and yet neatest apartment in the area, and it will help one save towards having one's own home some day. This is the perfect place for someone who has a taste and some class, and who is just starting-up. You can catch a bus right across the apartment, and alight, right in front of it. Great restaurants are a walk away, on the Briarpark side, overlooking Westheimer. There you have Chilis Grill and Bar, Fornos of Italy, Republic (a Texas Grill), Masala Wok, Outback Steakhouse, Thai Cottage, La Madeleine, Starbucks, Rio Ranch Steakhouse, Subway, and so on.
