Not the Ideal Place to Live
I pretty much have lived at Thai Xuan Village my whole life and I don't find it to be the most suitable apartment to live at because of the fact that it is mostly infested with roaches and fleas. As long as you don't have a dog, you should be fine, but I can't say the same for cats since I haven't owned one. I am certain that a lot of the stray cats around there have fleas; I think people couldn't care less in getting those cats some help. When I lived there, a man once tortured a cat by burning... her. Some people here can be cruel to animals.
My place used to have gates but ever since the fire incident that happened, the landlord made us removed them and my parents were against that since the household is practically filled with girls. We were the last to have them removed but reluctantly did so in the end since apparently, the landlord was talking smack about my mother behind her back. I do not know the whereabouts about this but apparently, a lot of people here wanted to file a lawsuit against the landlord.
My opinion is that I don't believe the landlord truly cares about the residents. I just think he is doing whatever he wants and taking people's money for who knows what. I don't even know if he is still there.
An important thing to note is that there are thieves. Since the gates were removed, my father's stuff have gotten stolen before. Some people have also stolen my mom's plants and fruits too even when we had gates.
People also love to stare at you for whatever goddamn reason. The majority of residents are Asian and while I too am Asian I don't look like one.
Anyway, if you want a place to crash, consider going somewhere else. Someone has gotten killed there before and they lived there.
