Just be Cautious
After living at The Club at Stablechase for about three months, I feel I have enough experience to provide an honest review.
The apartments themselves are nice, and the floor plans are updated and visually appealing. Unfortunately, the overall experience has not matched the price point.
Before move-in, we were quoted certain move-in costs, only to be told shortly before receiving our keys that we owed an additional $200 due to incorrect information provided by the leasing office. While we... ultimately paid it, it was frustrating to incur unexpected charges because of an error that was not ours.
Since moving in, we have experienced several maintenance issues. The air conditioning was not functioning properly because the air filter had apparently not been changed prior to move-in, and our washer stopped working within the first three months of residency. These are not issues I expected to encounter so soon after moving into a new apartment.
There are also recurring pest concerns. I would not describe it as a severe infestation, but roaches and other bugs regularly appear both around the property and inside the unit.
Communication and accessibility from management have been some of the biggest frustrations. The leasing office is often difficult to reach, and there have been multiple occasions where office staff were unavailable during posted business hours. As a resident, it is frustrating to need assistance and be unable to consistently reach management during the times the office is advertised as open.
Most recently, two of my properly registered visitors were towed from unmarked parking spaces. After the towing occurred, I was informed that visitors are only permitted to park in the 5 available designated visitor spaces near the front gate as well as registered. This was contrary to my understanding when I moved in and raises concerns about how residents are expected to accommodate guests when those limited spaces are occupied. The towing company advised me to address the matter with management, and I am still seeking clarification regarding the parking policy.
Overall, the units themselves are attractive, but the management, communication, parking policies, maintenance preparation, and recurring pest issues make it difficult to justify the rental rates being charged. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this property at its current price point. Hopefully things will be better by the end of our lease terms.
