Going down hill -
Going down hill - Dealing with the TOWING Co?
1) They had my car towed away, when I had already register my car with them, the tag is on my windshield. They have all my information and since I didn't pay attention that I had to register with their prefer "TOWING COMPANY" they had my car towed. I was out of town when this happen and cost me $609.00 to get my car out. This was not in my contract to register with a towing company
2) Last year they offer to renew my lease and they offer 500.00... AMAZON gift certificate never honor it.
3) The Landscaping is awful, dead tress and bushes for over a year. Just going down and down. Pool is always shut down.
4) Trash area around the containers if trashed and nasty.
Only thing nice and kept up is the Lounge area.

We appreciate your feedback and encourage honest reviews. However, it's important that reviews accurately reflect the situation.
Regarding the parking issue, we made several efforts to communicate by placing notices on every door and sending... 20 emails about parking registration. Our system indicates that you read 7 of these emails. During our phone conversation, you mentioned not having access to online resources and claimed you did not receive the emails. After explaining that our system shows read receipts, it was clarified that the emails may not have been read in full. I stressed the importance of reviewing all communications from our office. Unfortunately, the conversation became heated, and you expressed frustration, even threatening legal action before ending the call. Please understand that we cannot be held responsible for issues arising from communication that went unanswered.
When inclement weather or necessary repairs occur, we are required to close the pool for safety reasons.
The gift cards were sent via text/email, and we made several attempts over weeks to obtain a valid phone number or email address, but did not receive a response for over seven months.
Regarding landscaping and trash, our team is working in phases due to logistical constraints, including the availability of only one compactor on site. Our valet trash service cleans up each evening and documents the condition with daily photos. Maintenance further addresses any remaining issues each morning.
We would be happy to address any concerns you may have and work towards improving your experience. Please feel free to visit the leasing office Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, to discuss any grievances in detail.

A dreadful place to live
A once goregous place that has terribly sank so far to the bottom of the barrel. I think the new management is purposely wanting to tank this place but still charge high for rent. The management does not care at all about residents. They let anybody use the pool area which leads people to blare horribly lyric music and perform acts that nobody wants to see from their window! It’s disgusting. I’m not cool with hearing that filth through my walls when I’m trying to go to sleep for work the next... day. The record as of now for the music blaring is 11:30 PM. Oh and security is nowhere to be found. And by the off chance you’re told that they “go out to check the pool,” they’re blowing out hot air, adding to the already hot Texas heat. Instead, the management will tell you how to solve the problem, they tell YOU to call the police as they (management) won’t do a thing about the noise. Oh and if you choose to live here, be prepared to deal with the Resident Portal app that they make you download to pay rent through, become “down” and “experience problems” very frequently.

Vehicle Stolen from Parking Lot
Live here if you want your $40,000 vehicle stolen from the parking lot. Also, get accused of "spreading mess about the apartment complex" by the Manager, Maria, whenever you bring up the fact that your vehicle was stolen from the parking lot.
Although previous Management seemed to do a decent job of at least informing residents of criminal activity at the complex, it is clear that the new Management likes to keep residents in the dark. An email reporting the theft of my vehicle, or any other... incident that has occurred during their commission for that matter, (ex. vehicles left on bricks) were never sent out.
Management's mantra is "crime doesn't have a zip code." However, crime certainly is more prevalent at Stonegrove. If you see an officer on the premises, it is safe to assume that they are responding to a call, not simply checking up on residents like Stonegrove's Instagram proclaims.
We have lived here for two years, and have watched the apartment complex steadily decline with each change in Management. Up until about a month before we moved out (after my vehicle was stolen and the incident was reported to the front office), the gates had been consistently left open (for months). Every time someone would complain about the gates being left open or broken, Management's favorite excuse was "we are at the mercy of our vendors." Find a new vendor.
The gates miraculously shut the day after the theft of my vehicle occurred and I reported it to the front office. I should also mention that the Manager is aware that she drives the same make, model, and year truck as the one that was stolen from me.
Over the course of our residency at Stonegrove, we have experienced:
1. Theft of a vehicle
2. Several multi-car break-ins incidents
3. Countless vehicles with their wheels stolen up on the same type of red brick
4. A shooting on the premises
5. A hit and run involving a vehicle with stolen plates and a pregnant woman
6. A courtesy officer getting beat up by residents at the pool
7. The complex's pet of the month on Instagram, Baylor, (pit bull) maul a woman and her Pomeranian a week after we reported the dog escaping from its owner and attempting to attack my dogs on their walk to the front office
8. At least two burglarizations of the Parcel Pendings
On a final note, be weary of positive reviews of Stonegrove. Prior Management would offer incentives to residents who left reviews, and many reviews appear to be fake.

Poor Customer Service
I’m currently in the process of relocating and drove 7 hours to tour the complex just to arrive and be told rudely by Emily that I had to have an appointment. I’d called TWICE the previous week and NO ONE said anything about an appointment. This complex was my top choice but I’ve now looked and found others. The leasing officer showed no care that I’d drive such a far distance and couldn’t return at a later date for a tour. That confirmed that this complex was not for me!
