Been a resident since they opened 3/20. Worst management and ownership. Two management companies and so many managers that we have a betting pool on how long they will last. Reason I stay is I like the apartment itself, location, and residents. My rent has gone up 400.00 in 3 years. No move in special.
Common areas in the complex are extremely dirty, inside and outside. Hallways & elevators have only been cleaned once and not a professional cleaner. When showing apartments for future renters... they walk outside to nearest entrance to avoid soiled hallway carpets. Okay, residents cause the dirt but if the complex was maintained regularly it would be better. Landscape maintained only for front of the building.
Fire alarm system has needed repair from day one. The alarm goes off so often no one even goes outside. Fire department gives complex repair extension and extension.
The pool furniture never replaced when damaged by weather. Down to 3 loungers. Residents have bought umbrella replacements since complex won’t. Pool has needed repairs every summer and closed for weeks at a time.
Supposed to be non smoking but management doesn’t enforce unless you take a photo. (Yeah, hey can I take your picture to report you, ha ha) Management does do any activities. All activities are done by wonderful residents at their own expenses. But Leander is a great place to live.

The residents is what makes this place a great place to live. They provide 99.9% of the activities. All activities are free (except cash bingo $2.00 a card), and the schedule is full and open to new activities. There are two craft shows a year, and just about everyone here is friendly and open to conversation.
BUT
Like any other apartment complex you are dealing with big corporations- who don’t care about you. Only the bottom line and profit.
We had a wonderful manager who did what she... could for us but she was let go for a ridiculous reason (or because she fought for us, and cared).
You will find dealing with these corporations everywhere you go, it’s a fact of life.
