New Management - Great Improvement
I first met the assistant manager when I started my lease in 2019. She was always pleasant and a joy to be around, handling even the most difficult situations with professionalism.
Since I moved in, I have experienced many management changes and several different managers. Unfortunately, the previous manager and her assistant were by far the worst. Thankfully, their time here was short-lived, as I felt that they were targeting me. They insisted that my son’s car had to be removed from the... property within two weeks, even though there were other cars parked here with expired stickers dating back to 2016, which had never moved and were inoperable. Despite having orange and red towing notifications placed on those vehicles, nothing was done. The writing on the notices faded due to exposure to rain and sun.
My son was not on my lease, and the manager advised me that he couldn’t stay with me. Initially, I was okay with that, but she then informed me that none of his belongings could remain in my two-bedroom apartment. As a result, I was forced to rent a storage unit, and my daughter made a two-hour trip to help me move everything out of the room. When I asked if my son could spend Saturday nights with me so that we could go to church together on Sundays, I was told no. After checking my lease, I discovered that there was no basis for that restriction; the lease only requires tenants to inform management if they have a guest staying longer than seven days.
To my pleasant surprise, about a month later, I entered the office and found we had a new manager, Letty. She has been a joy to work with. Although I usually don’t require much assistance, I have 46 years of experience in customer service and believe in clear communication. I prefer face-to-face contact whenever possible and always follow up with an email confirming our conversation. Letty consistently makes time for her tenants and follows through on any commitments she makes.
I would also like to commend Taha for staying on after the previous manager and her assistant left. As long as Letty and Taha are here, you have nothing to worry about; you are in great hands.
