There has been no electricity for six hours. I submitted two maintenance requests. The first time I received an email saying that the problem had been solved, but I never received a call? It's so hot, but it still hasn't been solved! Is there a problem with the property management? The appliances are old, the fridge is very noisy, it was serviced once but the problem still exists! Can't they just replace it? I'm on a two year lease and I'm leaving when it expires, disappointed!

Safety concerns
I Would not recommend this community. Although the schools are excellent I believe this property has safety issues. I have lived here for about 7 months and our light bulbs In the living Room dining Room kitchen and hallways go out every other month, I am terrified that there is going to be an electrical fire. There is no reason brand new light bulbs should go out that often ,when I voice my concerns they just send maintenance. How is maintenance going to fix an electrical problem? And ofcourse... they won't let you out of your lease. I should have known something was suspicious when the company sent an email out saying they were no longer supplying light bulbs but that if we supplied them maintenance could change them if we could not reach the lights. Paying for light bulbs is not the big issue , although they are expensive, but obviously I am not the only apartment that is having this issue.

horrible experience living there
Within 4 days of my move in, I was greeted by some unwanted friends. There was a cockroach in our bathroom. They sprayed, great. Next day, another cockroach in the bathroom. Within 4 days of moving in, we had a roach problem.
On top of the roach problem, the apartment randomly gets these weird smells. We had a unit with a staircase. At the bottom of the stair case, it was fine. But as you walk up the stairs, it smelled really odd, sort of reminiscent of bad cat litter. We have no cats... .
Something that may contribute to the smell, is the HORRIBLE MANDATORY valet trash system. You leave your trash outside, but they only come monday to thursday. This is a $30 fee per month you CANNOT avoid. What if you have two trash bags? You didnt leave it at the exact spot/angle that they wanted it? They will take your trash bag that you leave in the trash can, but they will CHOOSE to walk past the SECOND trash bag thats literally right next to the trash can because 'its not where they prefer it." All this for a mandatory extra fee on top of rent. We had this issue for about 2 weeks where the valet trash team REFUSED to pick our second trash bag up, so it just sat there. Numerous times, I had to walk our trash to the dumpster on operating days of valet trash, because they simply refused to bring.
Pool is never clean. They shock treat it on Mondays, but they never actually take the leaves and dirt out of the pool. And if youre really "lucky" youll go in the pool and theyre will be literally hundreds of dead waterbugs that they just refuse to clean.
Going back to the unit, the tubs clogs extremely easily.
Outside of the units, around the apartment complex, there are wasps nests all over.
The walls in the units are paper thin.
The appliances are horrible. Everytime we used the stove, it would reak and produce smoke that wont go away. This was an issue on day 1 of moving in. Dishwasher works sometimes, when you rotate the dial it doesnt really always work. Have to keep doing it until it clicks.
Something VERY recent, sort of links back to the valet trash issue. Around 2 weeks before we moved out, management decided it would be a good idea to put a Curfew... on the trash cans? If your trash can is left out AFTER 9am, they will TAKE your trash can, and refuse to give it back to you unless you pay them $25. So, if youre running late to work, or running late to bringing your kids to school and simply forget to take your trash can in, thats another 25.

Gone downhill fast!
Great location, loved the floorplan of 1 bd w/ den. Was a very nice community when first opened but with poor management has gone downhill. The grounds are poorly kept, hot tub is never working, pool is dirty most of the time, the 2 outdoor grills are broken, etc. Had a recent change in management, hope they can turn it around!
