Good enough for short term housing
While I’ve found office staff to be friendly and repair orders handled quickly, using either service doesn’t happen regularly enough to give this place a good review. Note- I’ve lived here a little shy of two years and am counting the days until my lease is up.. This review is coming with lots of experiences.
It’s loud. So, so loud. It feels like there’s only a single piece of sheet rock between units. I hear everything in my neighbors’s apartments. Microwave beeping? Yep. Phone conversations?... Sure can. Phone vibrating? Yep. Cooking? Sure thing. You can even smell the food.
I’m aware anytime a neighbor is sick because I get to hear coughing and sneezing. I’ve even had to hear vomiting from the next apartment while getting ready for work.
The walkway patios are ripe for trespassing. I have absolutely no problem with people crossing by, but it’s also been available for neighbors to come over and hang out with their friends in front of our unit, including leaving cigarette butts and empty beer cans.
You should also be aware of the lack of storage space. Yes, the apartment is small and fairly cheap, but the pantry is so narrow that a person cannot fit both shoulders in. The bathroom only allows under sink storage- minus area the pipes take up. There are not other cabinets, drawers or shelves. It is also missing a hand towel rack and medicine cabinet.
Also, and this is just a note, if you’re looking for a nice swim as an adult, be aware the pool doesn’t get deeper than about 4 feet. I haven’t been up more than twice, so I don’t remember the exact number, but it is shallow.
