Do NOT Rent @ Chase Hill !!!
This is the most unscrupulous business with which we have ever been involved. Here are some of the reasons why…
1. We were very patient to work with apartment management throughout our lease term and requested extermination to control the never-ending roach infestation. After many trips, the roach problem was never resolved. This apartment is infested, so we decided to move.
2. Written “notice to vacate” apartment is required at least 60 days prior. This is stipulated in the lease, but not... noticed. Who requires more than 30 days?
3. We only had 30 days before deciding we’d had enough, but apartment management will not accept our 30 day notice. They are requiring that we pay an extra month (lease +1 month) to provide the full 60 days.
4. For the extra month, apartment management is requiring we pay TWICE the normal monthly rent for the last month.
You could say, “but that was written in the lease”. The issue is that the lease is unfairly structured to get your money. A 30 day written notice is common and should be acceptable. Doubling rent for the added month should be illegal. Then, the last piece is that the apartment complex is managed by heartless agents that will not budge on terms. They are simply soldiers.
In summary, DO NOT LEASE AT CHASE HILL APARTMENTS.
BTW, do not believe any recent 4 and 5 star reviews. They can't be authentic.
